MAUI, HI - JULY 2012

Apart from our visit to one of Maui's best known restaurants, Mama's Fish House (left), we did a few more fun things and, as usual took some photos.  We were attending a conference but managed to get a day to ourselves.  My husband was celebrating a birthday that week so we rented a Mustang convertible (can you tell his birthday was an "over 50" one!).  Not knowing what to get the guy for his birthday, I thought it would be a nice idea to take a helicopter ride over the rain forest and the volcano.  It was pretty spectacular flying over the lush rain forest one minute and the volcano the next.
