DON'T LET THE RUBY SLIPPERS,

FOOL YOU., THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME,
BUT TRAVELING IS FUN.
On our trip to the lovely UNESCO Heritage Town of Hoi An, Vietnam (main blog post here), we took a lovely, leisurely boat trip on the Thu Bon River which runs through the Town and out to the open sea.
After negotiating the price - all of US $10, we set off. It was quite nice having the boat to ourselves. We saw a Fishing Village, fishing nets and some local Fisherman who gave hubby a lesson in throwing a net - we tipped them generously of course! We returned to Hoi An via a very tranquil inlet, hubby even received the honor of driving the boat (the captain liked us lol!), before being dropped off at the main jetty in Hoi An. It was such a nice way to spend an hour of our time. Check out my You Tube video below (apologies in advance for the poor quality of the video sections, I was using my DSLR as a video camera).
